Seeing Double?

No, this dog doesn’t have two noses. The nostrils on some dog breeds are separated by a band of skin and fur that divide the nose in half from its center all the way to the upper lip.

These breeds include the Pachon Navarro (also known as the Old Spanish Pointer), the Catalburun (or Turkish Pointer), and the Andean Tiger Hound. Some believe that these breeds evolved this way because it gave them extra sensitivity to odors as hunting dogs.
